Participant Handbook
We want you to feel informed, respected, and confident when using our services. That’s why we’ve created a Participant Handbook: a plain-language guide that explains:

What's inside my handbook?
Welcome and Introduction

Your Rights and Responsibilities
Clear information about your right to feel safe, respected, and involved in all decisions about your support.

Cultural Safety and Respect
How we ensure your culture, language, and identity are respected and protected in all services.
Support Planning
How we work with you to develop your support plan and achieve the goals you set for yourself.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Details about how we protect your personal information and when it may be shared (with your permission).
Feedback and Complaints

How to access the handbook
You can request a printed or digital copy of the Participant Handbook at any time. It’s available in plain English, and we can also support you to understand it in your first language with help from interpreters or community workers. If you need help understanding any part of the handbook, our team is happy to sit with you and go through it step-by-step.
Want a copy or more information
Call us, visit our office in Gapuwiyak, or ask one of our support workers — we’re here to help you feel safe, strong, and informed.
